 We are retained by one of the UK's leading Travel Management providers. Private Equity backed with a turnover of £150 million the business is experiencing rapid growth and is keen to take their market leading service in to new markets and geographies.

 Overview:

This is a unique opportunity for a forward thinking commercial Chief Financial Officer with an evidenced track record, to join a young team focused on growing the business not only in terms of profits and sales but talent, products, revenue, channels and competitive strengths

The ideal CFO candidate will constructively challenge the CEO and management team and be capable of contributing to the growth and strategic development of the business in areas outside of the remit of the finance function.

During the next phase of growth there is a significant opportunity focused on developing the international capability of the business, in addition to penetrating new niche markets as its position in its core markets matures. Both of these areas could be tackled either organically or via acquisition.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and upgrade the finance function into a centre of business intelligence which is fit for purpose for a private equity backed company
• Manage preparation of all statutory reporting, monthly management accounts, cash and performance forecasts.
• Co-ordinate and manage the preparation of 12 month rolling P&L, cash flow and balance sheets and financial covenant tests thereon.
• Manage supplier negotiation, pricing requirements and margin management.
• Be accountable for business development, M&A, partner and supplier relationships.
