Overview:
This fast track 100 e-retailer is undergoing rapid growth. With sales of circa £40 million and over 100 employees, the company predicts revenue will reach £60 million in the next couple of years. To facilitate this growth the business is seeking to make two critical appointments to its tech team.
Role:
The Head of Business Systems will be responsible for the following:- All buying, CRM, distribution, payment and financial systems (Navision)
- Management of the deployment of in-house order management system into suppliers
- Assessing the viability of developing offshore business systems teams
- Recruit, develop and retain UX Managers, Technical Project Managers, System Administrators
- Working with stakeholders to identify needs and solutions
- Working closely with the Head of Development
Requirements:
- An IS Manager with significant experience of managing the development and deployment of Business Systems
- Hands-on technical background – able to guide and intervene on specific technology challenges
- Stint at an excellent B2C ecommerce business
- Experienced in working with an under resourced team and a proven track record in hiring, retaining, growing and motivating excellent tech talent
- Experienced in running parallel development projects / project management
- Recent PHP development experience would be advantageous.
