Overview:

Newly acquired private equity backed German online fashion retailer is seeking an Interim COO to work with the founding MD to professionalise the operational performance of the business and the position the business for rapid growth. Working alongside the MD the role will require significant change management experience and a detailed understanding of e-commerce and the fashion industry.

Role

  • Take line management responsibility for all operation aspects of the business.
  • Conduct review of current operational processes and systems.
  • Drive change programmes introducing a KPI driven environment.
  • Implement business intelligence systems to define metrics and measure performance.
  • Improve business efficiency.
  • Build a robust and scalable operations function.
  • Work with the private equity investors and CEO to define ongoing strategy.

Requirements:

  • Significant change management experience.
  • A track record of delivery operation and process improvements in an e-commerce environment.
  • Experience of working in rapidly growing business, both domestic and international.
  • Extensive fashion retail experience.
  • Experience working in a PE environment is also preferred.
  • Must have basic German language abilities, fluency obviously preferred.
