MHP are frequently asked to make introductions of Chairmen who can work with investors as they work towards specifc deals. Such individuals can be crucial to helping an investor get a deal over the line and when complete the indivdual normally joins the business as Chairman.

Role

To provide sector and commercial expertise to a Private Equity investor when assessing a new investment opportunity. To work with a newly backed business to assist in the development of the 100 day and 3 year business plans and work with the business throughout the lifecycle of the investment.

Key elements of the role will include

- Work with due dilligence providers
- Help manage the relationship between investor and management team
- Chair Board meetings
- Assist with strategic direction setting
- Bringing further industry experience to the board
- Mentor CEO
- Support the rest of the board team
- Manage investor and banking relationships at a senior level 

 Requirements

- Previous senior board level experience normally as CEO
- Experience as a Chairman or Non-executive in a Private Equity backed business
- Experience of working with PE backed business through transactions including MBO's and Exits
