Our client in one of London’s leading Travel Management providers. It specializes is providing premium services to the legal, hedge fund, consulting and financial services sectors.

Private Equity backed with a turnover of £100 million and 350 employees the business is experiencing rapid growth.

As part of the succession planning the company is now looking to identify a Commercial Director who can become a part of the management team which steers the business through its next stage of development and helps drive an exit for the investors.

Role

•Negotiate and manage existing and new commercial contracts with suppliers, partners and clients.

•Deliver commercial/strategic business plans to deliver new products, enter new client sectors and new country markets

•Drive revenue growth in the event management and private clients teams

•Manage, coach, develop a team of 15 with 4 direct reports and where necessary identify and hire new talent

•Work on new technology developments with the technical team to enhance the service delivery and customer experience.

Candidate Requirements:

•To be degree educated, with a professional qualification and a track record in marketing, sales or commercial management.

•A leader who motivates and energises and achieves results through people

•Travel Industry or adjacent sector/b2b experience

•A minimum of 5 years senior level experience,

•To be a powerful communicator who is numerate, pragmatic, commercially astute, with strong analytical skills.

•To be a focused strategist who can deal with the day- to-day and the bigger picture.
