Our client is one of the UK's top 20 websites. During it's ten year history it has experienced meteoric growth. Employing over 200 people and producing revenues in excess of £80 million, this business is the market leader in it's sector.

The role offers the opportunity to become a member of a truly entrepreneurial, innovative and exceptionally high quality management team.

The Role:

- Lead and develop a team of 70 technologists
- Plan and deliver product development and enhancement projects which deliver consumer appeal to the website
- Identify and deliver on commercial opportunities with P&L Directors
- Deliver and maintain internal systems.

While this is a technical role we are looking for candidates with first class commercial skills and a broader business outlook that goes well beyond technology. Someone who can win credibility and demonstrate leadership amongst the technical team, whilst at the same time deliver real P&L value.

Candidate Requirements

- Degree qualified from a reputable university ideally with a postgraduate qualification
- 10 to 15 years experience in development, project management or programme delivery
- First class leadership and management skills
- A background in management consulting or web-based product development is of particular interest.
