This London based multi channel distributor and retailer has recently undergone an MBO. As a result of the incumbent retiring the board is looking to augment the senior team with a commercial hands on Finance Director to help build and manage the financial and commercial infrastructure to support the next stage of growth.
Role
The key deliverables of the role are:
- Reviewing and improving control environment.
- Setting up robust month end procedures to enable the production of accurate basic MI from Month 1 including:-
- P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflows
- Basic pack of other KPIs.
- Laying the groundwork for more comprehensive monthly reporting by the end of Month 3 post-completion.
Candidate Requirements:
- Available to start immediately / within 2 weeks.
- Relevant situational experience (interim/experience of building reporting systems in leveraged, pe backed business)
- Experience of high transaction volume business with imperfect systems that are not integrated (i.e. booking system v financial reporting system).
