A private equity backed business services company requires an experienced Sales Director to set and implement a strategy for growth.  The emphasis of the role is on driving value through managing and inspiring a strong sales team to deliver challenging growth objectives.

Role Description

  • Set and implement a new sales strategy with the objective of achieving rapid growth in a demanding environment
  • To analyse and assess the current sales function and channels, identifying areas for improvement
  • To manage performance of the sales team, creating a performance management culture that will focus the team to deliver the required targets
  • Where necessary, restructure sales and marketing teams
  • Establishing robust reporting and KPIs to enable the business to measure the new strategy and sales initiatives
  • Work with the senior management team and private equity investors to implement strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • An experienced Sales Director with proven ability to drive rapid growth
  • Experience of managing, motivating, leading, refocusing and re-energising sales, marketing and commercial teams
  • B2B selling business services to a UK customer base
  • Experience working for private equity backed businesses is advantageous
